What is the Visual Route?

By Patrick Bracken | July 6, 2015

The visual route is a Syntelic action that displays a detailed chronology of plan and actual data spanning the route, route stop, and route event tables. Viewing plan and actual stop durations and event level information allows for detailed, easy-to-use analysis of individual routes. In addition, the Visual Route enables basic editing of actual route data.

The visual route must be run as a drill-down, and is most often utilized as a drill-down from a route level report to provide detailed insight into the events of a particular route. Typically, the visual route is placed on a dashboard action alongside route stop and/or route event level reports to increase the granularity of the data.
