In General

Customer support means a number of different things. First of all, we’re always here to answer customer questions about how our products work, or even just to to give advice on the best way to approach a problem. We’ll also track down any issues that our customers may be having in their daily use of our software. We pride ourselves in providing excellent customer support — and if we slip up, well, our customers tend to be rather vocal, so we’ll certainly hear about it and we’ll work very hard not to make the same mistakes in the future.

Product Updates

Customer support also includes the development and delivery of new product release. We’re always updating and enhancing our products. We usually operate on a monthly release cycle and a new release is generally available in the first week or so of each month. We prefer short regular release cycles so that the releases are manageable — with a focused set of changes that are straightforward to test and document. Sometimes, when there is nothing demanding for a particular month, or if we are working on a larger set of integrated updates, we’ll skip a month in our cycle. But, typically, there will be about 10 new releases each year.

Each release is cumulative, and most customers do not jump to each new release as it comes out. We suggest that our customers monitor each release, study the release notes, and wait until there are some especially interesting new features that apply to their operations, taking an update perhaps twice a year.

We try to make these updates relatively painless. Most updates require a database upgrade, which is handled by  our administrative console utility. Most new releases and database updates are usually fairly straightforward and can be installed fairly quickly, avoiding any significant downtime. But sometimes there will be a major database change that may take longer to run.

Recent Product Releases

Below is a list of recent releases with a link to further information:

  • Release 2017.2.1160.3722

    Release 2017.2.1160.3722 was made commercially available on May 1, 2017.  This release includes several improvements to the Load Planning module as well as a few miscellaneous fixes to the Route Planner and other general areas of the software.

  • Release 2017.1.1160.3695

    Release 2017.1.1160.3695 was made commercially available on March 14, 2017. This release includes several improvements to both Load Planning and Transportation Analytics, and other assorted general corrections throughout the application.

  • Release 2016.1.1130.3361

    Release 2016.1.1.1130.3361 was made commercially available on August 1, 2016.  It includes major improvements to the Load Planning module as well as other assorted general fixes throughout the application.

  • August 2015 Release

    Version 2015.6.2.112 was released on July 27, 2015.  It includes improvements to the PowerVue interface, a change to the Load Planning algorithm, and a change to mouse controls in the application.

  • July 2015 Release

    Version 2015.6.2.110 was released on July 6, 2015.  It includes expanded features for strong passwords, updates to DOT regulations for use in Dispatch Planning, updates to the PowerVue interface, and various general fixes.

  • May 2015 Release

    Version 2015.5.1.107 was released on May 27, 2015.  It includes a resolution to a memory leak when switching between a dashboard containing a map and another dashboard as well as new e-mail functionality.

  • April 2015 Release

    Version 2015.4.1.101 was released on April 20, 2015. It includes a major redesign of the map, a redesign of the general import modification dialog, and corrects some miscellaneous defects.

  • March 2015 Release

    Version 2015.3.1.101 was released on March 2, 2015.  It adds minor enhancements to several areas of the product as well as correcting some miscellaneous defects.
